About Me
I am Kiran R, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET), Thiruvananthapuram.
I started my career as Embedded System Design Engineer at L&T Infotech-GDA in 2007, where I was associated with projects of Freescale Semiconductor Inc. and Linear Technology. I joined as faculty of engineering at Government Engineering College, Idukki in 2008. Since 2011, I hold the post of Assistant Professor at CET.

I did my B-Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (CUSAT) and M-Tech in Communication & Networks with minor in Microwave & Optics (at IISc Bangalore). I completed my research in Computational Electromagnetic at IISc Bangalore, in 2023. My areas of interest are Machine Learning and AI, Computational Electromagnetics and Robotics.

I teach Electronic Circuits, Robotics and Industrial Automation, Discrete Time Control Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, Signals and Systems, Optimization Theory etc.
